Today our class spent the block in the library. We had to get a partner from our blog groups and critique our earlier posts again. This took about most of our block and at the end, we had to write our goals for February. That's basically all we did today.
Learning Intention:
The learning intention for this was to get better with our critiquing skills and also get feedback so we will fix our mistakes in the future. We worked with a partner because it's easier to find mistakes when someone else reads you're blog and it gets us used to working with other people. Also, we had to think about our goals so we can remember them and do what we wrote on the paper.
Reflections / Connections:
For me, critiquing was easy because all we had to do was read over our partners blog and choose a score from 1-5 (5 being the highest) and tell them why we chose this score.
The connections for this could be used in the future for when we need to critique something. This could come in handy for when you're older and you have a job that involves critiquing.
Homework:
The only homework for today was to make sure your done reading chapter 1 & 2 for our novel "There will be wolves"
Tips:
- Try to stay on task next time and not be so loud
