Um no one did it so I'll do it today.

What We Did

Okay so today we basically checked our chapter 3 and 4 answers. Not everyone had it done so some people had to finish it. Ms. Lees assigned us in pairs so we didn't have a choice. With our partners we edited and discussed our answers. We had to read our questions a loud. Going through each question carefully. Ms Lees said that we did a good job today. However some people did not work hard and fooled around. Some people finished early and could finish questions for chapter 5. Then we had to the chart on oral skills and filled it out. The oral skills chart is a chart where you have to write about what you said. For example on one of the boxes it said: What were your ideas. Then you wrote what you said. If you were done that you had no homework!

Why We Did It

We had to use our oral skills so today helped us get practice. Also by learning how to edit your/peer work the next time you do the answers for the book they will be better. I understand that you need to be able to edit your work and learn from it so that you don't do the same mistakes twice. By talking to your peer you get more experience in learning how to communicate. Then by filling out the oral chart you can see if you did a good job. If you have a lot to write about that probably means that you did a good job. However if you see that you don't have a lot to write about you probably have a problem there. I also understood that the reason we did this is for our work. You have to be able to answer questions properly.

Connections/Reflections
For me I personally had a hard time because my partner (you know who you are) kept on laughing! We finished editing all of the questions but I don't think we really did a good job. I just rewrote my answers because it had too many mistakes. The reason we do these things are so that when we need to answer questions in life we can do it well. Also by practicing our oral skills we learn how to criticize in a proper way. I think next time I need to try harder to concentrate and do well on the task given to us. I learned how to edit and also how to compare and share answers. I thought although I had some problems everything worked out. I don't really know what happened to my partner. I'm kind of worried because if she keeps on laughing I think that I will laugh too! Anyway, I learned a lot of new things and hope to do a better job next time. Since I worked ahead I had no homework.

Homework/Tips
Finish editing and if you can try to finish answers for chapter 5. If you want to work ahead you can do chapter 6 answers like me. You must finish editing chapter 3 and 4 by Monday. That's it guys! Have a good weekend. Also I'm not posting anymore. Please post on time guys!
